Job summary

Poppies Preschool St Martins in Canterbury, NZ is seeking a Qualified & Registered Nursery Kaiako (Under 2s) for a permanent, full-time position. You will work with infants and toddlers in a warm, supportive teaching team, planning learning experiences and documenting children's progress.

Applicants must hold a current practising certificate from the NZ Teaching Council and be able to commit to 35–40 hours over 4–5 days, with a passion for sustainability and strong communication with whanau.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our warm and supportive teaching team in our Nursery.

We are seeking a qualified and registered Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about working with infants and toddlers. If you bring initiative, a strong work ethic and a love for the environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
