Job summary

Dreamers Nest Montessori Early Learning Centre in Orewa is seeking an experienced, NZ-qualified and registered ECE kaiako to join our warm, close-knit team in the 3-6 year old Montessori classroom.

You will work with a 100% qualified teaching team, practise Montessori pedagogy, contribute to planning and documentation, and engage in regular professional development. We offer generous non-contact time, strong support from colleagues, and discounted childcare.

Qualifications

• NZ-qualified and registered ECE kaiako.
• Experience with children aged 3–6 years.
• Montessori training or Montessori environment experience.
• Good understanding of Te Whāriki.
• Confident with programme planning and documentation.

Dreamers Nest Montessori Early Learning Centre is looking for an experienced, NZ-qualified and registered ECE kaiako to join our warm, supportive and close-knit team in Orewa.

The role is based in our 3-6-year-old Montessori classroom within a beautiful, well-resourced learning environment.

We are proud to have a 100% qualified teaching team, with around 80% of our teachers Montessori trained. So, when you are practising Montessori pedagogy, you won't be doing it alone. You'll be working alongside experienced teachers who understand Montessori philosophy, principles and practice and can support you in your day-to-day teaching.

We're looking for someone who:

• is Qualified and holds current NZ teacher registration
• has experience working with children aged 3-6 years
• has Montessori training or experience in a Montessori environment
• has a good understanding of Te Whāriki
• is confident with programme planning and documentation
• is caring, respectful, creative and collaborative
• enjoys working as part of an experienced teaching team
• is passionate about ongoing learning and professional development.
