Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Auckland seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a large and complex organisation undergoing transformation. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NZ legislation.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of PAYE, KiwiSaver, Holidays Act, and the ability to interpret employment agreements and payroll policies while driving system improvements, with TechnologyOne experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll experience within a large or complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation (PAYE, KiwiSaver, Holidays Act, leave calculations).
• Ability to interpret employment agreements and payroll policies.
• Strong systems aptitude; TechnologyOne experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately in line with NZ payroll legislation and employment agreements.
• Manage payroll queries and support a diverse workforce in a complex environment.
• Contribute to system improvements, projects, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
