Job summary

Mindtree, a private training organisation, seeks an OSCE Clinical Skills Tutor to plan and deliver OSCE preparation across online and in-person settings in Christchurch. The role focuses on nursing standards, practical skills, and exam preparation.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of healthcare teaching experience, NZNC registration with APC, and the ability to work a Wednesday to Sunday pattern, including evenings where needed.

Qualifications

Must have at least one year of healthcare teaching or training experience.
Current NZNC registration and APC; NZ work permit or NZ citizen.

Responsibilities

Plan and develop OSCE preparation programmes for individual students and small groups.
Deliver online theory sessions on OSCE syllabus and NZ nursing practice standards.
Demonstrate practical clinical skills using standard equipment and protocols.
Conduct one-to-one mock OSCE exams and provide feedback and coaching.
Review and revise course content as standards change.
Record attendance, progress and mock results; report outcomes to management.
Maintain the clinical skills lab and ensure safe practice during practical sessions.
