Job summary

Metlifecare is opening a stunning new forty-seven bed Care Home at Orion Point in Hobsonville, Auckland, scheduled to open in 2027. We seek an experienced Nurse Leader to join our team and start work in January 2027.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with involvement in compliance and audit readiness and recruiting a clinical team. You will lead a high-performing team, drive budgeting, ensure premium care, and foster community connections, while delivering best-in-class

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate.
• Solid leadership experience and skills.
• Strong understanding of gerontological and clinical best practice.
• Business acumen with experience budgeting.
• Strong team management and leadership of a high performing team.
• Highly engaging style of communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining industry compliance and a high standard of clinical practice.
• Care Suite sales and ensuring occupancy is maximised.
• Managing all budgeting aspects of the Care Home.

About the role

We are excited to announce our stunning forty-seven bed Care Home at Orion Point in Hobsonville is scheduled to open in Q2of 2027.

We are seeking applications for an experienced and passionate Nurse Leader to join our fabulous team to start work in January 2027.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday – 40 hours a week. Initially you will be involved in the compliance and audit readiness of the site. You will also have the privilege of recruiting and building a fabulous clinical team.
