Job summary

IDEA Services is seeking a night shift Support Worker in Auckland (Albany or Massey) to help manage risk and maintain safety through the night. You will monitor residents, respond to Individual needs, and contribute to a 24/7 rehabilitation service at a secure facility.

Experience is valued, but the right attitude and life experience matter most. You should be calm under pressure, able to work with diverse individuals, and hold a Full NZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with some life experience and the right attitude.
• People from backgrounds such as security, corrections, defence, youth work, coaching, community leadership, trades, or disability, addictions and mental health support are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• As a Support Worker on the night shifts at a secure facility you will be managing risk and maintaining safety throughout the night.
• You will be monitoring the people we support and helping with individual needs when required.
