Job summary

Bidvest New Zealand Limited in Rotorua is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy operations team. You will pick, pack, replenish, and load orders while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency.

Working on the nightshift, you’ll contribute to accurate order completion and stock control, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse handling chilled, frozen, ambient, produce, and meat products.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or storeperson experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good level of physical fitness for manual handling
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using warehouse systems and scanning equipment
• Replenish stock and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assemble and pack orders to company and food safety standards
• Load delivery vehicles according to dispatch schedules and loading plans
• Maintain product quality through correct handling of chilled, frozen, ambient, produce, and meat products
• Help keep the warehouse clean, organised, and operating efficiently
• Support stock investigations, inventory checks, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all health and safety and food safety requirements
