Job summary

Gilmours Hamilton, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is seeking a full-time Picker and Packer to join our Service Department. This role suits a physically fit candidate with pick/pack knowledge; training will be provided for the right person.

You will pick and pack orders, lift up to 25 kg, and operate the RF Scanner on SAP to hit targets. Fluency in English and reliable attendance are essential; own transport is preferred. Shifts Sunday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with ability to lift 25 kg or more.
• Experience in pick/pack or warehousing preferred; training will be provided if limited.
• Must be fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders coordinated by the Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain safe lifting of 25 kg+ and operate forklift when required.
• Use RF Scanner on SAP to pick orders accurately (target > 30 lines/hour).
• Restock shelves and rotate stock; work in chilled environment as needed.
• Ensure attendance and reliability; own transport to site.

The Role:

This role ideally suits a physically fit candidate with some pick pack knowledge, applicants with less experience will be considered as training will be provided.

• Pickingand packing orders coordinated by the Manager/Supervisor
• Be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved 25kg+
• Forklift work for the right applicants
• Using the RF Scanner on SAP to pick orders accurately and above 30 lines per hour
• Filling shelves and rotating stock
• Depending on service teams working in a chilled environment.
• Must be fluent in written and verbal English
• Replenishment of shelves

What are we looking for:

• Honest team player with a can-do attitude is essential
• Ideal candidate will have previous picking, packing, or warehousing experience
• Must be physically fit to lift up to 25kg's >
• Be extremely reliable with a proven record of exceptional attendance in all previous work
• Be accountable and driven to better their performance
• SAP knowledge would be an advantage
• Fork hoist or RPT licensewould be an advantage
• Must have own transport to get to and from work
