Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN for night shifts (12-hour) with a self-scheduled layout and occasional floating within Zone 4 sites. The role is full-time with 36 hours per week.

Must have RN licensure with BLS and 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years in L&D and postpartum is preferred. The nurse will engage in evidence-based practices, document outcomes, and maintain patient safety.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where RN is providing care
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience in relevant area.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum preferred (2 years).

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains a culture of safety and ensures appropriate delegation.
• Documents accurately in the EHR and may float to other units as needed.
• Adheres to adult, pediatric, or geriatric care standards as age-appropriate.
