Job summary

BayCare Health System in Dunedin, at BayCare Alliant Hospital, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for inpatient care. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provide patient care including medication administration and therapies for assigned patients.

Qualifications include LPN licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred; 6 months acute care as LPN or PCT; High School diploma or equivalent. Shift from 6:45pm to 7:15am; full-time; on-site with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, including medication administration, therapies and interventions.
• Provide direct patient contact and care in inpatient setting as directed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Position Description: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN Inpatient Responsibilities Include

• Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.
• SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.
• Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.
