Job summary

Qube Tauranga is seeking a Night Shift Hoist Driver to join our busy Tauranga Depot. You will safely operate container hoists, move cargo around the yard, and support day-to-day yard operations while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Applicants should hold a NZ Class 1 licence (Class 2 preferred) and have experience around heavy machinery or heavy vehicles. Training is provided, and a collaborative team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 1 licence essential
• Class 2 licence preferred
• Experience driving heavy vehicles or around heavy machinery
• Strong focus on Zero Harm and safe work practices
• Clear communication skills, including RT communication
• Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude

Responsibilities

• Move containers around the yard as required.
• Operate single or double stacker container hoists.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Use RT communication clearly and cooperatively.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
