Job summary

Big Chill Distribution in Christchurch, South Island, is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our team. You will be the face of Big Chill on the road, delivering and picking up chilled and frozen products while maintaining service standards.

This full-time role runs Sunday to Thursday, 9pm to 9am on the Cromwell route. You will work with the Stores team and dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 5 driver with 12+ months' experience on New Zealand roads.
• Experience in frozen/temperature-controlled environments.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Solid understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products.
• Assist Stores team with loading/unloading preparation.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain delivery times and temperature control of goods.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Road Safety laws.
