Job summary

Big Chill Distribution in New Plymouth is seeking an experienced Class 5 Linehaul Truck Driver for a full-time, on-site role starting evenings. You will deliver and collect chilled and frozen goods, operate temperature-controlled transport, and liaise with dispatch for on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class5 driver with at least 6 months' experience
• OSH Forklift Operator certified with experience operating a forklift
• Experience working in frozen/temperature‑controlled environments
• Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products
• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods
