Job summary

Big Chill Distribution in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our team, delivering chilled and frozen products and representing our brand on the roads. This full-time night-shift role starts at 3pm with potential job-share; you will work with Stores and Dispatch to ensure cold-chain integrity and on-time deliveries.

Candidates should have at least 2 years NZ driving experience, a Class 5 license, and a Customer-service mindset with a strong focus on safety and

About the Role

We are looking for anexperienced Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our team. If you have experience in temperature-controlled transport, we would love to see you join us. You would be the face of Big Chill out on the roads and bringing excellent communication and customer service skills to our team.

This is a full time role, working the Nightshift starting at 3pm. The company is open to a job-share of the role.

Key responsibilities include

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products


• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading


• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries


• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

• Qualified Class 5 driver with a minimum of 2 years experience on New Zealand roads


• Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments


• Having time management and organisational skills.


• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times


• Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.
