Job summary

Summerset Holdings is hiring a Caregiver at Trentham Village to provide personal care and support residents, including meals, hygiene, and daily living tasks. The role contributes to a safe, healthy and enjoyable lifestyle for residents.

The position operates on a 2 days on, 4 days off night shift pattern (32–48 hours per fortnight), with a focus on empathy, strong communication and reliability in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Strong verbal communication skills for building relationships.
• Commitment to night shifts.
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes.
• Aide with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support with individual care plans, walks and exercises.
• Assist residents with activities and social engagement.
