Job summary

Summerset Holdings is seeking a Caregiver for our Trentham Village in Canterbury. You will work within a team to create a safe, healthy and enjoyable lifestyle for residents, focusing on personal care and daily assistance.

Responsibilities include meals, hygiene support, and activities; with a rotating 4-on/2-off schedule (40-50 hours per fortnight). Applicants with aged care experience and strong communication are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, kind and patient approach to care.
• Experience in aged care or similar role.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to build relationships.
• Willingness to rotate morning, afternoon and night shifts and work a 4-on/2-off roster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes.
• Aid with hygiene including showers.
• Support residents with individual care plans, walks and exercises.
• Assist with activities such as puzzles and table tennis.
