Job summary

Alliance Group Limited seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Levin meat processing operation. Reporting to the Operations Director, this senior role is responsible for the safe, efficient, compliant and commercially successful site performance, leading the plant leadership team and workforce.

You will drive health, safety and wellbeing, production, quality, yield and cost targets while building a capable, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• You’re a commercially astute operational leader with significant experience in complex food processing environments.
• You’re confident leading large teams, setting clear expectations, driving performance and building a positive workplace culture.
• You’ll manage budgets, capital expenditure and functional KPIs in a unionised, safety-driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Leading the plant leadership team and wider workforce to achieve strategic objectives.
• Championing health, safety and wellbeing and driving safety performance.
• Delivering site performance targets across safety, productivity, quality, cost and contribution.
• Ensuring food safety, product quality and regulatory standards are met.
• Overseeing production planning, capacity utilisation, scheduling and load forecasting.
• Managing budgets, financial reporting and cost improvement initiatives.
• Building relationships across Alliance functions and external stakeholders.
