Service Foods Ltd. is seeking a Produce Team Lead to manage the night shift at our Auckland produce facility.

You will oversee the warehouse operations, ensure food safety and high-quality standards, and lead a dedicated team through picking, packing, and dispatch tasks. The role requires strong leadership, forklift operation, and a hands-on approach to drive efficiencies, reduce discrepancies, and maintain FIFO stock rotation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Fresh Produce or FMCG.
• Experience in night shift operations.
• Strong knowledge of FIFO, quality control.
• Forklift licence and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift Produce team to meet operational targets.
• Coordinate with Head of Produce on planning and workflow improvements.
• Supervise picking, packing, dispatch, inventory control, and quality checks.
• Maintain freshness, quality, and food safety compliance.
• Manage stock accuracy, discrepancies, and stock rotation (FIFO).
• Schedule rosters and optimise labour utilisation for nightly operations.
• Oversee equipment checks and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
