Job summary

LyLo Queenstown, part of EVT, is seeking a Night Operations Agent to keep the hotel running while guests sleep. Working 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, you will be the face of the night shift, ensuring guest experiences, handling queries, and keeping operations ticking.

This is a full-time role with 15+ hours per week, offering autonomy, variety, and opportunities to upsell LyLo’s spaces. Join a friendly, on-site team and help deliver seamless stays for guests in Queenstown.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and customer service.
• Confidence working independently and making decisions overnight.
• Hands-on approach — you’re happy to jump in wherever needed.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with financial processes.
• Great communication skills and a natural guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless guest experience — from late-night check-ins to early departures.
• Handle guest queries, requests, and any issues with confidence and care.
• Process nightly audits, transactions, and reporting accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented public areas.
• Assist with laundry operations and general upkeep of back-of-house areas.
• Identify upsell opportunities and promote LyLo’s spaces and services.
• Manage VIP arrivals and special guest requirements.
• Monitor safety, report maintenance issues, and keep everything running smoothly overnight.
