Job summary

Vulcan in Christchurch is hiring for a permanent night shift role focusing on loading/unloading heavy steel orders and dispatch preparation. You will use a forklift and site equipment to move materials, ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the process.

The role requires a NZ driver''s license, Forklift F Endorsement/OC, and pre-employment medical. Residents or visa-holding workers in NZ are welcome to apply. Enjoy a four-day week and weekly pay in a hands-on warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• NZ driver''s license; Forklift F Endorsement and Operator Certificate required/t致obtain
• Pre-employment medical; drug and alcohol test
• Physically fit for heavy material handling
• NZ residency or valid work visa required

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and site equipment
• Pick, pack and prepare steel orders for dispatch
• Move steel plate and heavy materials around the site
• Check orders for accuracy before dispatch
• Assist with stock movements and inventory control
• Follow safe operating procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
