Job summary

Presbyterian Support Central is hiring Health Care Assistants for Cashmere Home and Cashmere Heights. Two permanent, overnight shifts of 56 hours per fortnight with weekend rotation. Join an Enliven team focused on compassionate elder care, safety, and resident wellbeing.

Must hold Health and Wellbeing cert 3 or higher and prefer hospital or aged care experience. Benefits include progressive pay scales, ongoing training, a supportive team, staff wellbeing initiatives, and discounts with NZ

Qualifications

• Require a Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate.
• Experience in hospital or aged care settings preferred.
• Ability to support elders with daily living and care needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork important.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living and care support to residents.
• Encourage independence and resident-led decisions.
• Deliver high-quality, individualised support.
• Follow and uphold health and safety practices.
• Work under supervision of the Registered Nurse team.
• Ensure resident needs are met promptly and compassionately.
