Sunhaven Holdings Limited in New Plymouth invites Health Care Assistants to join a motivated team. The role covers personal care, mobility support, vital signs monitoring, and patient comfort. You will aid nursing staff, ensure a safe environment, assist with meals, and provide companionship.

Applicants should have at least 3 years’ relevant HCA experience or NZQA Level 4 healthcare qualification, with strong communication and teamwork. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as a Health Care Assistant or NZQA Level 4 qualification in Health care is required.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding patients.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs and record results.
• Support nursing staff and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with meals and dietary needs; provide companionship.
• Move and transfer patients using proper techniques; report changes.
