Delaware North New Zealand is seeking a Night Auditor to join Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown. You will manage overnight reservations, process payments, and ensure accurate reporting of lodge finances while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of property management systems (Opera, RMS).
• Exposure to security procedures and emergency response.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage overnight reservations including walk-ins and inquiries by phone or email.
• Process payments and charges accurately including card and cash handling.
• Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism.
• Execute end-of-day procedures in line with policies and security.
• Count, balance and reconcile tills and floats; ensure transaction accuracy.
• Maintain financial records including stock and logs.
• Support Front Office Manager with reporting and data entry.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for overnight needs.

Delaware North New Zealand are seeking a Night Auditor to join our team at Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand. As a Night Auditor, you will ensure efficient and accurate reporting of lodge accounts, oversee evening front office operations, and exceed guest expectations by delivering outstanding service. If you're passionate about customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.

The position is exclusively night shifts - Availability is required to work night shift hours on a rotating roster across Mon - Sun.

What will you do?

• Manage all overnight guest reservations, including walk-ins and enquiries via phone or email
• Process payments and charges accurately, including card and cash handling
• Respond to guest enquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and empathy
• Execute end-of-day procedures in line with company policies and security protocols
• Count, balance, and reconcile tills and floats, ensuring accuracy in all cash and card transactions
• Maintain financial documentation including stock levels, wastage reports, and transaction logs
• Support the Front Office Manager with financial reporting and data entry as required
• Conduct scheduled security patrols throughout the property, ensuring guest safety and adherence to noise curfews
• Respond to overnight housekeeping and maintenance requests, coordinating with relevant departments
• Assist with overnight housekeeping and maintenance requests, van restock, and morning F&B setup as required

More about you

• Knowledge of property management systems (e.g., Opera, RMS) and financial reconciliation (highly preferred but not mandatory)
• Exposure to security procedures and emergency response protocols
  Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication
