Job summary

Stanmore Bay School in Auckland seeks a dedicated Year 0–1 teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in 2027. The role is within the Year 0 and 1 teaching team and will contribute to a cohesive early learning environment.

The successful candidate will work across a range of learning areas including English, Health and PE, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Te reo Māori, Technology, The arts, and more. Interviews will be arranged as CVs are reviewed.

• Recent and proven experience in a Year 1 learning space.
• Knowledge of collaborative learning spaces, BSLA, Hero SMS, PB4L, culturally responsive and relationship-based approaches, and holding restorative conversations with students.

About the role

We seek an applicant who has recent and proven experience in a Year 1 learning space. Knowledge and experience in collaborative learning spaces, BSLA, Hero SMS, PB4L, culturally responsive and relationship-based approaches, and holding restorative conversations with students are beneficial.

This role will be with the Year 0 and 1 teaching team and commences in 2027.

This is a permanent position for Terms 2, 3 and 4 every year.

Interviews will be scheduled throughout and after the application stage based on CV suitability and to suit applicants.
