Arataki School in the Bay of Plenty invites a passionate Certificated teacher to join our collaborative team. You will teach across primary and intermediate levels (Years 1–8) with a focus on English, maths, science, and the arts, aligned to the refreshed NZ curriculum.

You will need a current practising certificate, NZ residency, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with strong classroom management and effective communication to support student success.

• Ability to implement programmes and support diverse learners.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cultural responsiveness.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated teacher to join our collaborative and supportive team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a sound understanding of the refreshed curriculum and effective pedagogy including an understanding of the Science of Learning.

We use structured programmes including Maths No Problem, iDeal and PC4L. Strength in teaching these programmes would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will be well organised, have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour, go the extra mile and be able to create a warm and caring class atmosphere where students can thrive.

We are looking for someone who

• Brings cultural responsiveness and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Is a registered NZ teacher with a current practising certificate and relevant qualifications.
• Applicants must have NZ residence.
