Qualifications

  • Qualified Certificated teacher with current practising certificate.
  • Experience in junior-school pedagogy and explicit teaching methods.
  • Experience or familiarity with Te reo Māori and te ao Māori.
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and working in small rural school.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Year 1–2 class (Primary/Intermediate) in 2027.
  • Demonstrate strong junior-school pedagogy and explicit teaching.
  • Integrate te ao Māori and te reo Māori across curriculum.
  • Contribute to small-school life and participate in professional learning.
