Job summary

Halter is seeking a Technical Specialist - Network to be the first line of defence for collar connectivity issues and support the CX team. You’ll resolve tickets quickly, escalate when needed, and help build internal tools to improve triage and visibility across the network.

This role focuses on reducing noise for the Network team while ensuring farmers remain connected and supported. You’ll work closely with Network and Fleet teams, train the T2 group, and contribute to ongoing improvements in

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing role resolving issues and owning outcomes.
• Strong communication and ability to translate customer pain points into escalations.
• Interest in networking, connectivity, or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage network-related issues, escalating when deeper engineering investigation is needed.
• Build dashboards, playbooks, monitors to improve triage and visibility.
• Investigate on-farm connectivity issues and surface insights to the Network team.
• Collaborate with Network and Fleet teams to detect patterns and improve first-line resolution.
• Train the T2 team to root-cause and solve more network issues.
• Identify recurring problem areas and drive long-term improvements.
• Track support metrics such as ticket volume and uptime.
• Participate in on-call coverage for incident response.
• Bridge field findings to product, process, and education for better decisions.
• Conduct on-farm investigations when remote diagnosis isn't enough.
