Job summary

Halter is transforming farming with smart collars and a private IoT network. We seek a Technical Specialist/Software Engineer - Network to own first-line resolution of connectivity issues and build tooling to streamline triage.

You will shield the Network team from noise and enable faster root-cause analysis while collaborating with Network and Fleet teams. You’ll join a mission-driven CX group, contribute to on-farm investigations, and help raise the bar for customer experience through

Qualifications

2+ years in a customer-facing role or similar where you owned the relationship and outcome.
Genuine care for customers and animals with real technical curiosity.
Ability to translate customer pain points into clear escalations and action.

Responsibilities

Triage and manage issues escalated from the T2 team related to the communications network.
Build dashboards, playbooks, monitors to streamline triage workflows.
Investigate on-farm connectivity issues and surface insights to improve coverage and robustness.
Collaborate with Network and Fleet teams to detect patterns and improve first-line resolution.
Train the T2 team to root cause and solve more network issues themselves.
