Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau in Whangārei Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Neonatal Unit. This permanent part-time role (0.6FTE) focuses on promoting education to maximise patient outcomes and clinical excellence.

You will lead education programmes, facilitate simulation and bedside teaching, and support staff development. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to advance neonatal care, safety, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and holds an APC.
Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma or working towards.
7+ years post-registration experience, with at least 3 in neonatal care.
Ability to design and facilitate learning activities and education programmes.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent team player with ability to work independently.
Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and high standards of care.
Cultural competency within nursing practice.

Responsibilities
