Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to join Hospital Operations. You will provide professional and clinical leadership, coordinate patient care, and deliver education and clinical teaching to staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Significant recent acute nursing experience.
• Experience in adult education and clinical teaching.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and project management skills.
• Postgraduate qualifications, preferably at master's level, with a focus on adult education.
• Sound understanding of patient deterioration programmes and interest in quality, risk and safety.
• Competency in using IT systems, including Microsoft Excel and local databases.
• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current APC.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional and clinical leadership, patient care coordination, education and clinical teaching to patients and Hospital Operations kaimahi.
• Collaborate with the current Nurse Educator, the broader Nurse Educator group and the Simulation Team to identify and maximise education and clinical development opportunities.
• Work autonomously, prioritise workloads effectively and contribute to a supportive senior nursing team.
