Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking an Asset Engineer in Auckland to join the Fleet Asset Management team. You’ll apply engineering judgment and data analytics to assets that support the Royal New Zealand Navy, developing asset management plans and improving performance over the lifecycle.

You will work with engineering, maintenance and Defence stakeholders, balancing priorities and driving continuous improvement while building knowledge in sustainment, systems engineering and Integrated Logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or recognised equivalent.
• Certified Associate in Asset Management or working towards it.
• Engineering background relevant to mechanical, electrical or systems disciplines.
• Eligible to obtain NZ Defence Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Asset Management Plans.
• Analyse technical and operational information to sustain assets.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and Defence stakeholders.
• Contribute to asset performance improvements across lifecycles.
• Support technical decision-making and continuous improvement.
