Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is recruiting an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to lead communications and engagement for interRAI Services. You will develop plans, messages and engaging content for a broad range of audiences and collaborate with subject matter experts and leaders.

You will provide strategic communications advice, manage risks, and ensure plain language and brand consistency across channels such as newsletters, presentations, newsletters and digital content.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in communications or a related role.
• Experience supporting a national or large public or private sector team.
• Experience developing and delivering stakeholder communication plans.
• Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience creating clear content including messages, speaking points and articles.
• Experience using content management and mail merge software.
• Understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and applying its principles in work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of communications and engagement activity for interRAI Services.
• Develop communication plans, key messages and engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Provide trusted communications advice and identify emerging issues and risks.
• Champion plain language and consistent brand standards across outputs.
• Create newsletters, presentations, website content and events.
• Tailor communications for internal and external audiences.
