Job summary

DB Breweries is seeking a National Demand Planning Manager to lead the demand planning function across NZ and export markets. You will take ownership of the monthly Demand Review, partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain, and coach a Demand Planner.

Based in Auckland, this full-time role focuses on improving forecast accuracy, S&OP maturity, inventory health, and product availability through data-driven insights and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior-level demand planning and forecasting.
• Deep understanding of New Zealand FMCG market dynamics and customer landscapes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to influence senior leaders.
• Trade promotion systems experience is an advantage.
• Ability to lead cross-functional processes and collaborate effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with Power BI, advanced Excel, and forecasting systems.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, business, economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly demand planning cycle and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align business and planning needs.
• Produce insights and scenario models to support decision-making.
• Improve forecast accuracy and inventory outcomes.
• Manage and enhance planning systems and tools.
• Support product range and SKU optimisation.
