Reporting to the National Air Logistics Manager and a member of the Air Logistics Management Team, you will have responsibility for leading the Air Logistics Aerospace operations team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of operational excellence for Air Logistics Aerospace customers across New Zealand.
Drive and support your team to ensure the delivery of operational excellence is maintained throughout the entire shipment cycle for Import and Export Air Logistics Aerospace movements.
Support your team to ensure that all documentation is completed as per company processes, customer and regulatory requirements and in a timely manner, including liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with documentation and processes where required.
Support the smooth cross‑functional collaboration between relevant teams such as Customer Care, Sales, Systems & Processes, Revenue and Customs Team to deliver a greater customer experience and drive customer retention.
Focus on continuous improvement of processes and controls and agree with key stakeholders as to how to implement these.
Maintain strong relationships with various external parties, including Aerospace customers and overseas offices/agents.
Ensure strong data quality is available for timely and accurate customer reporting.
To increase ratio of spot quotes for AOG and Engines and control end‑to‑end shipment performance as part of an AOG, Engine or Vertical Aerospace OCC.
Assume people leadership responsibility for direct reports, conducting regular performance and development conversations to support growth and achievement of individual and team objectives.
Participate fully as an integral member of the Air Logistics Management Team, working collaboratively as required to ensure achievement of overall team objectives, including the success of the KN Experience (EX & CX).
Note: These accountabilities may change from time to time to meet operational or other requirements.
In‑depth knowledge and experience of Import and Export Air Logistics processes, including familiarity with AOG shipments.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills; proven track record of successfully leading and developing a high performing team.
Demonstrated ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority and expertise, including driving collaboration across teams and functions.
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced transformative environment under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to effectively manage and prioritise your time effectively, especially when under pressure and with a busy workload.
