Job summary

Green by Nature AU is hiring a Mower Operator to join our Auckland Toru team. The role involves outdoor parks and grounds maintenance in the Waitakere area, mowing, weed eating, and basic plant maintenance, with training provided if needed.

Ideal candidates have a full, current driver license (manual) and a positive, can-do attitude. We offer guaranteed hours, a wellness benefit after probation, and opportunities for development within a long-standing industry leader.

Qualifications

• Full, current driver license with ability to drive manual and class 2 license.
• Enjoy working outdoors and take pride in a job well done.
• Basic computer skills will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• General parks and grounds maintenance in Waitakere area.
• Mowing, weed eating, and basic mechanical maintenance of plant.
• Keep grounds well presented and uphold health and safety policies.

If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have a class 2 drivers' licence, then this role would suit you! We currently havea vacancy for a Mower Operator to join our high-performingAuckland Toru team.

What does a Mower Operator do you ask?

You will be responsible for general parks and grounds maintenance with activities in theWaitakerearea including (and we will train you if you're not an expert), mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant and ensuring that the grounds always look well presented. This is a varied, physical role upkeeping our local community, where you will be a highly valued member of the team!

Who we are looking for

Ideally we would love someone who has experience operating motorised ride-on mowing equipment and other small plant equipment, however, this is not a must. As long as you are a hard-worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:

• A full, current driver license with the ability to drive a manual and a class 2 license.
• Enjoy working outside and get great satisfaction from a job well done!
• Basic computer skills will be beneficial.
• A commitment to upholding our company's Health and Safety policies.
• A positive, can-do attitude, that shows a willingness to learn and grow.
