About the role:

As a Small Plant Operator, you'll be responsible for weed eating, trimming and sometimes mowing parks, reserves and sports fields throughout Rodney, West Auckland region, on a full time basis. Your daily tasks will include:

• Operating various small plant and equipment to keep public spaces in top condition
• Weed eating, edging and push mowing for a polished finish in detailed areas
• Performing basic maintenance on equipment to ensure they're reliably maintained
• Maintaining fields, parks, reserves and more to a high standard, not only meeting but exceeding our clients' expectations

Who we're looking for:

We'd love to hear from you if you have previous experience with small plant equipment and ride‑on mowers in a similar capacity. You'll be passionate about working outdoors, you'll have a strong work ethic and you'll fit right into the team! Ideal candidates will have:

• A full class 1 and 2 licence and you must be able to confidently drive manual vehicles
• Passionate about the outdoors and take genuine pride in your work
• Confident in using technology for your pre starts, timesheets, investigations etc
• Committed to uphold a high level of health and safety, keeping not only yourself but your teammates and the community members safe at all time
• A positive, can‑do attitude
