Rosecity Motel Palmerston North is seeking a full-time motel supervisor to independently manage the complete operation of the motel and build long-term stakeholder relationships. Remuneration ranges from $28 to $34 per hour, with 40 hours per week guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher qualification in hospitality, management, administration or any other business related area.
• Or more than 3 years of relevant work experience

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the business, including reservations, reception services, room service, and housekeeping operations, to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Ensure the health and safety measures, as well as the maintenance of the garden and property.
• Plan and administer budgets, and manage the business’s bookkeeping functions.
• Organize and oversee purchasing and procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Develop, implement, and update business policies and service standards in line with operational requirements.
• Coordinate staff duties and responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective running of the business.
• Maintain and update the motel’s website, including the publication of promotional offers.
• Provide guests with information on local tourism and arrange tours and transportation services upon request.
• Assess, review, and continuously improve customer satisfaction levels.

Formation
