Job summary

Walker Smith is seeking an experienced Mortgage Adviser in Auckland to help Kiwis make major financial decisions and grow with an unlimited earning potential. You will build lasting relationships, simplify lending decisions and guide clients from first conversation through to settlement.

In this role you’ll collaborate with a larger financial advisory team, using your expertise to tailor lending solutions, manage applications, and deliver exceptional client outcomes for a broad client base in

Qualifications

• Level 5 Financial Services qualification with Core and Residential Property Lending strands completed.
• Current accreditation with New Zealand's major residential lenders.
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Adviser or Mortgage Broker.
• Outstanding relationship-building, communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert residential lending advice tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Manage lending applications from enquiry through to settlement; build strong relationships with clients and NZ lenders.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience that generates repeat business and referrals.

As a Mortgage Adviser, you'll become a trusted partner throughout the lending journey. You'll take the time to understand each client's circumstances, recommend lending solutions that genuinely suit their needs, and guide them from your first conversation through to settlement.

Working alongside experienced professionals in a broader financial advisory business, you'll have the opportunity to build lasting client relationships while delivering advice that makes a real difference.
