Job summary

Awanui Labs Dunedin is seeking a Medical Laboratory Trainee to join our busy HPV testing area in Dunedin. You will perform routine testing with accuracy, contributing to high-quality diagnostic services for hospital and community patients.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant school leaving science qualifications as a minimum requirement.
• Work towards gaining a QMLT in the relevant discipline and register with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ and obtain an APC.
• Be strong in work ethic, methodical, and detail-oriented.
• Interest or experience in Molecular Pathology or Cytology preferred.
• 12-month fixed-term position with full-time hours; shift and weekend rosters may be required.
