Job summary

North West College in Auckland seeks an energetic Middle Years Teacher (Years 7–10) to join our full-time, permanent team. You will deliver the core middle school curriculum across subjects, with integrated or subject-focused learning and a focus on high engagement and seamless transitions to secondary pathways.

Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum is an advantage, and current New Zealand Teacher Registration is required.

Qualifications

• Strong primary or middle-years pedagogical expertise across core subjects.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and foster high engagement.
• Experience in teaching the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Excellent relational and communication skills with students, staff, and families.
• Current New Zealand Teacher Registration
• Willingness to contribute to the wider co-curricular life of the College (e.g. Creative Arts or Sport).

Are you an energetic, experienced middle years educator passionate about delivering high-quality foundational learning?

We are looking for an inspiring and versatile teacher to teach across our core middle school curriculum (Years 7 to 10). This role involves delivering integrated or subject-focused learning across our core learning areas:

• Mathematics
• Science
• Global Perspectives.

As a growing, future-focused school we offer a supportive, student-centred environment. You will be comfortable working with core curriculum strands and helping our students transition seamlessly into secondary pathways. Experience with or an interest in the Cambridge International Curriculum is an advantage, however we welcome applications from dynamic educators with strong New Zealand Curriculum experience looking to expand their teaching repertoire.
