Job summary

GHD is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington. You will contribute electrical design and technical input to multidisciplinary property, buildings and infrastructure projects, supporting delivery through design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ electrical engineering experience in building services.
• Experience with power, lighting and low-voltage distribution systems.
• Experience with ICT systems and multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience preparing design documentation, reports and specifications.
• Experience using AGI-32 and PowerCAD software packages.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver building services electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and low-voltage systems.
• Contribute to communications, ICT, fire systems and associated building infrastructure.
• Prepare design documentation, technical reports and specifications.
• Support project planning, design development, construction-phase activities and site-based services.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support the preparation of proposals and bids and respond to project opportunities.
