Job summary

GHD is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our team in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington. You will design electrical systems for building services, including power, lighting and LV distribution, and contribute to ICT and fire systems across multidisciplinary projects.

You will prepare design documentation and work across NZ and Australian projects, engaging clients and stakeholders while supporting bids and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with building services.
• Experience with power, lighting and low-voltage distribution systems.
• Experience with ICT systems and building infrastructure.
• Experience preparing design docs, reports and specs.
• Experience using AGI-32 and PowerCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver building services electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, LV).
• Contribute to ICT, fire systems and building infrastructure.
• Prepare design docs, reports and specifications per requirements.
• Support project planning, design development, construction-phase activities and site-based services.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support proposals, bids and opportunities response.
• Work on NZ and Australian projects with APAC delivery opportunities.
