Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a merchandiser to support New World and Woolworths stores in the Wellington region. You will build displays, stock shelves, and engage with store teams. Part-time, 7.75 hours weekly across Sunday and Monday, with potential to extend hours as business needs grow.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. Experience in retail merchandising is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and Sales team.
• Set up product displays in line with Mondelēz standards at designated stores.
• Use in-store POS displays to generate shopper interest and drive product availability.
• Ensure products are consistently on shelf and well presented.
• Identify opportunities to improve shopper engagement and sales.

More About The Role

• Supporting New World and Woolworths stores at 7.75 hours weekly, within hours spread across Sunday and Monday

Stores

• NW Stokes Valley, Silverstream, Hutt City
• WW Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Queensgate

Schedule

• NW Sunday starts at 4pm: Stokes Valley (1hr), Silverstream (1.25hrs), Hutt City (1hr)
• WW Monday starts at 8am: Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Queensgate (1.5hrs each store)

Requirements

• Current Full / Restricted driver's license
• Worthy vehicle with car insurance

How You Will Contribute

• Build strong relationships with our customers and Sales team by being reliable, efficient and communicating effectively;
• Build displays of our products in line with our standards and in the pre‑agreed locations;
• Use impactful Point of Sale on our displays to generate shopper interest in our products;
• Make sure our products are always available on shelf for shoppers to purchase;
• Keep looking for additional opportunities to enable shoppers to enjoy our products.

What You Will Bring

• Ideally have previous merchandising experience but don’t worry, we will provide training if you haven’t;
• Be confident with good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills;
• Be self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and take pride in your work;
• Be flexible, as hours may change due to business needs and busy times of the year;
• Be comfortable using the technology in a Smart phone.
