We are growing our Canterbury team of mental health support workers to provide compassionate, person-centred support in daily living skills. Role: Bank Support Worker in Canterbury, part-time, field-based, contract.

Responsibilities

• Helping the people we support to learn new skills.
• Providing emotional support, support with appointments.
• Medication support.
• Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential / promote their independence/achieve their goals.
• Maintaining a tenancy - budgeting, paying bills, home maintenance, dealing with correspondence.
• Facilitating groups such as outings, cooking, gardening etc.
• We support a number of individuals with keen interest in art and music.
