Job summary

Community Care Trust is seeking warm, reliable Support Workers to join our Independent Living team across Christchurch, Rangiora and Rolleston. You will support disabled people to live the lives they choose, helping with everyday tasks, community activities and personal goals.

You’ll build genuine, respectful relationships, use good judgement, communicate clearly and bring a calm, positive approach to your work.

Qualifications

• Hold a full current NZ Driver Licence.
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate, or willing to complete one at our cost.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand, or hold a valid work visa with at least 12 months remaining.
• Can work flexibly, including at least one weekend shift each week.
• Experience in disability support is welcomed.

• Support people with everyday tasks at home and in the community.
• Attend appointments or activities with clients.
• Build confidence and independence toward personal goals.
• Build genuine, respectful relationships with the person you support.
