Job summary

Summerset Holdings is seeking a registered nurse for our Memory Care Centre at Boulcott Village. The role focuses on resident-directed care for people living with dementia in a secure environment.

You will tailor care and support to each resident’s preferences, values and needs, collaborating with families and care teams. The position involves leading care provision, developing personalized plans, and maintaining high-quality standards in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a memory care unit or dementia residence.
• NZ Registration and a current Practising Certificate required.
• InterRai Training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living.
• Co-create personalised care plans.
• Lead and delegate care to caregivers and support staff.
• Ensure timely delivery of care and support.
• Monitor and evaluate progress with residents and families.
