Job summary

MAS - Medical Assurance Society is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team on a 13-month fixed-term contract. You will craft and polish content for Member communications, website articles and campaigns, while coordinating major initiatives such as AGM and Annual Report.

You will collaborate with marketing, product, digital and compliance teams to uphold our tone of voice, ensure accessibility, and drive engagement across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in communications, content or marketing roles with a strong writing focus.
• Experience creating content for multiple audiences and channels.
• Knowledge of plain language principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience using content management systems, email marketing platforms and digital publishing tools.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and proofread engaging content for Member communications, website articles and campaigns.
• Coordinate, manage and execute business-as-usual communications and key corporate initiatives such as the AGM and Annual Report.
• Help maintain MAS's tone of voice and writing standards across all communications.
• Work closely with marketing, product, digital and compliance stakeholders to deliver high-quality content.
• Review and optimise communications to improve member engagement and effectiveness.
