Waikato Hospital Laboratory is seeking two Medical Laboratory Technicians to join our modern, well-equipped lab in a part-time (0.8 FTE) permanent role. The positions involve 24/7 rostered shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays, and will support core departments across the Waikato Hospital laboratory network.
These roles require registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (or eligibility), prior laboratory experience, and strong communication and teamwork

We are seeking two dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technicians to join our dynamic and hardworking laboratory team. In these roles, you will work within a modern and well-equipped lab, offering the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience and develop your skills in medical laboratory science. The successful candidates will contribute to essential clinical support and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our laboratory across core departments.
This role will consist primarily of shifts between 11.30 pm 08.30 am

Our fast-paced medical diagnostic laboratory supports Waikato Hospital and its five satellite hospitals. We also offer specialist testing services for community laboratories throughout the Waikato and Midland regions, ensuring a comprehensive service for our patients.
