Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for industrial machinery using advanced CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).

• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication and assembly.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support the prototyping and testing phases, analyzing results and implementing design modifications as needed.
• Research and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal component performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in design review meetings via video conferencing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues encountered during manufacturing and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on industrial machinery or heavy equipment.
• High proficiency in 3D CAD software and a strong understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools (FEA is advantageous).
