Job summary

Auckland Forktruck Hire in Christchurch, Canterbury is seeking an experienced forklift technician for a mobile role covering the Greater Canterbury region. You will service, diagnose faults, and maintain battery electric, Li-Ion, diesel and LPG hoists, with ongoing training and career progression.

Based from our Christchurch workshop, with travel to customer sites, generous commission, and a supportive team; NZ citizen or valid work visa required; immediate start negotiable.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklifts preferred; training provided.
• Not a junior position; requires experience as a technician.
• NZ citizen or valid work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair forklift equipment across the Greater Canterbury region.
• Diagnose faults, reset operating parameters and ensure safety standards.
• Work from customers' sites with a mobile role; travel outside the region as needed.

Auckland Forktruck Hire – Christchurch, South Island

We are proudly a NZ owned forklift company with a national footprint. Due to ongoing growth we are looking for a technician to look after the Greater Canterbury region.

Ideally you will have forklift experience, although a good all rounder, or auto sparky, would quickly adapt to this work as we can provide ongoing training. Please note this is not a junior position, we need an experienced technician.

The position is based out of our Christchurch workshop, but it is essentially a mobile role covering the greater Canterbury region with some requirment to travel outside of the region and work from customer sites .

Our fleet is a mix of Battery electric, Li - Ion, Diesel and LPG hoists. Additional new units regularly being added to the fleet.

There is a great opportunity to grow the business and as such we offer a generous commission structure as part of the package.

This is a rare opportunity to work with a great team with a very good work life balance, minimum 40 hours per week.

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Honest & reliable.

• Full driver’s license. (F endorsement would be an advantage - we will assist with obtaining if needed.)

• Ability to work autonomously.
